WORKING ARTISTS NETWORK
A membership program for artists committed to living the life of their dreams

Hey folks. My name is Adrienne Fritze, and I am an artist and entrepreneur living in Portland Oregon.

I founded Working Artists LLC in 2004 to fill a need I had, and that I knew others had, in wanting to make a real go of living and working as a successful artist. There is a lot of back story about the why’s and how’s – but there is one question that drove my determination in building programs and services for artists struggling with it - “Should I go for it and figure this out along the way? Has anyone already figured out a way to make this work? Or, Should I toss the dream?”

When I realized I wasn’t sure if I could make it and there wasn’t anyone else who had figured out a way to make it work either, I tossed the dream aside…and left it there for nearly 30 years…

But there was a problem with that. Even though I eventually found myself in a job where I was making 6-figures as an advertising executive, I was lost and lonely and felt completely emptied of any artistic or creative spark. And even worse, I was disconnected from people.

And as a mom who is very aware that I am the living, breathing example my children will follow, I knew that I had to stop selling my soul to the company store, and get back to having that passion I longed for in my life.

In less than four years I’ve managed to pull together, with the help of lots of people, a program I know I need, and think other artists will find useful too.

I’m calling it the Working Artists Network (WANet), and here’s a little information to let you know what’s available to you now through this service.

The goal of Working Artists’ NEW Membership Program is to support artists—those emerging as well as established—in designing a life that works for them in ways that matter. By combining our efforts with strategic partners throughout Oregon and the US, we are finding extraordinary deals and programs for our paid membership.

Some of what you’ll receive by joining the Working Artists Network —

WHY HAVE I DONE THIS?

Simple. Art matters. And I value the artists who produce it, or apply it to aiding people in having more creative and fulfilling lives. I believe the arts should be a part of our everyday life—and the best way I know how to get art to the masses is by cultivating ways to support the people who produce the art/teach their art form to others/use the arts in therapeutic ways to heal, grow and evolve our communities.

It has been well worth the effort, and I believe it’s vital to the healthy evolution of our lives.

LEARN MORE ABOUT THE BENEFITS OF WAN

In order to help you understand the scope of the membership program, and to help me and my team continue to evolve WAN in a way that makes a difference for you, we’re offering these free Introductions:

* Thurs, Oct 25th, 6:00 to 7:30 p

* Wed, Nov 14th, 6:00 to 7:30 p

The location/s of the events will be announced in an e-mail sent to folks who sign up for an Introduction, and will also be posted in our Calendar as the dates draw nearer. The locations will be ADA compliant, and both the content and location are appropriate for all ages (after all, we often start out being artists long before we can get our driver’s licenses).

If you are interested, send an e-mail indicating which date works best for you to wan@workingartistsonline.com or call 503.445.1268

I am very much looking forward to meeting you, learning about you and your art form, and sharing with you more details about the Working Artists Network.

To Art and All it Brings,
A.
