- Healthy Snacks for Burning Fat
In an article published on Women’sHealth.com, a list of 10 fat-burning super foods are recommended for those of us desiring to decrease our fatty bulk [Healthy Snacks for Dieters]. Here’s the list of foods I’m now considering adding to my shopping list (with the exception of apples, which I began consuming when I made a commitment to being at the gym 4 days a week):
- Kashi Chewy Granola Bar
- Frozen peas, corn, grapes and cherries
- Fage Total Greek Yogurt
- Apples (3 a day!)
- Quaker Express Oatmeal
- Soy Chips
- Frozen juice bars
- Barbara’s Cinnamon Puffins
- Licorice (not to be confused with Twizzlers – this is meant to be the REAL THING.)
In a related article about increasing metabolism that aids in burning fat from from and inner and outer perspective [How to Increase Metabolism], I found even more good news – stuff to adopt as well as feeling smart about already having some of the list already in my routine. At the top of my list are fish oil capsules containing at least 300 milligrams of the fatty acid EPA and 200 milligrams of the fatty acid DHA per capsule.
And finally, here is a very important list that promises to alter my grocery shopping routine – a list of fruit and vegetables that are highest and lowest in pesticides. Pesticides are proven in studies to disrupt our bodies’ metabolism and ability to burn fat, not to mention the toxic tear-down that occurs from consistently consuming chemical laden foods. So complete your foray into healthy choices by buying organic that makes health sense, while keeping the more economic, low pesticide-laden fruits and veggies on your list.
