Hello! And welcome!

First, thank you for visiting the “Empty and Meaningless” project site.

It's an invigorating project that I'm inviting people to participate in - I have been moved and touched by the intent of the people who participate in the creation of the boxes. People willing to be outside of their preconceived ideas about how a relationship should be - actively creating an expression of the way they envision a transformed conversation between themselves and others in their life.

Let me share with you a bit of who I am, and what potential I see for myself in this project.

Passionate Life Time.
I am now an artist and ontological coach full-time! Woohoo! It has taken me a good 25 years to get back to that which I am passionate - full self-expression through visual arts, in collaboration with other artists and art forms.

The people with whom I collaborate practice a wide variety of artistic expression, including: theatre, music, movement, literature, and moving pictures.

Family Time.
Family. Oh how I celebrate family! I share a home with my children, my mother, my former husband, our dog, two rats, and two other canines who come to visit regularly. We live in a lovely house in Portland Oregon. I bask in the sunshine of my extended family, a colorful and delightful group of people with professions as wide ranging as writers and actors to software designers and technology mongers to folks in leadership roles across the board - in school, at home, at work, in government and in their communities.

I have also dedicated myself to continuing my leadership and transformational work with Landmark Education - a series of programs I find empowering and extremely useful in all areas of my life. (For more info on Landmark and their programs, click here.).

What "Empty and Meaningless" means to me.
The project represents inifnite possibility for healing, restructuring, facing fears and overcoming them. I fall in love with the people in my life, some for the first time, others all over again. I experience profound sadness - joy - fun - anticipation - fear - excitement in how people react to the act of communicating their intent in relationships with someone via this tiny box. And I am clear that I do not have any idea what the ultimate impact this project will have on myself or others - but I am also clear that the transformation that occurs in this project has the potential to be profound and lasting.

My life is extraordinary - populated with people who are people in action - people I know, people I come to know, people who amaze and astound me by sharing the gifts they have - the gifts they are.

And for today, this is the meaning I have attached to the project called "Empty and Meaningless".
