BOX
STORIES
This was
one of the first boxes created by artist and E&M Founder, Adrienne
Fritze, and is about her relationship with her brother - 10 years her
senior. The box panels each have a unique face painted on it representing
the many viewpoints throughout the years the artist has held about him.
In the end, she acknowledges, and is thankful for, the gift that is her
brother.

SERIES
| Anything
But Ordinary
All
great stories - whether told in movies, books, on stage, or
in visual arts - use archetypes and symbolism found in the classic
mythic structure called the "Hero's Journey". In this 8-session
series, participants learn about this powerful structure by
mapping their own "life tale" against the elements of the Hero's
Journey.
Participants
will also play with different techniques of character exploration
- using collage, stenciling, assemblage, poster art, and journaling
- to craft a multi-media story in the form of a group exhibit.
